7 eleven Nachos - Packaging Genius or Straight-up Dumbness?
Hrm. One will note that this is nothing but a box of chips.
What threw me for a loop was the “FREE Chili and Cheese” bit. Can you really have Nachos without the cheese??? Can you really have Big Nachos if it’s just chips?
Packaging Genius.
But if I may weigh in with my two pennies on the topic of Marketing and Packaging, methinks it woulda been a bit more exciting and impulse-buy-inducing if it read,
“Big Box of Chips. Free Cheese and Chili.”
-or-
“Big Nachos. FREE Chili.”
…The cheese part was too confusing.
Next post is about their Big Sandwich packaging which reads, “Free Bread and Meat”
ahem.

Get a load of this clown.
For a purveyor of a fun-time treat, he sure does look creepy.
Let’s take a closer look at Scoopy, shall we?
Check out his ‘hat’ and the creepy-yet-patriotic brows.
They don’t emote feelings of fun times…though they do make me think of fireworks.
Check out his eyes - do they look happy to you???
They look like Clint Eastwood’s from Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo as he glares out into the distance, looking for Lee Van Cleef.
Anyhoo, i think i’m gonna send in for the scoopy doll, and put it in a thunderdome-like-cage with a Chucky doll and a whole bunch of medieval weapons, and see who is left standing.
