McDonald’s to Open in the Louvre (gasp!)
No joke. The Golden Arches are opening up a ‘regular’ McDonalds outlet and a McCafe in the Louvre food court. It’s kind of funny that so many people take issue with the juxtaposition of the world’s nastiest, soylent greens slinging most successful same-same fast food chain with the world’s most revered art collection, located in the food-snootiest country. Horrifying indeed!
A McDonald’s in France? …une insulte!
A McDonald’s in the Louvre? …Blasphème!
How_can_this_be_happening??? Surely the folks at McDs corporate offices must have put a TON of effort into greasing the wheels of French business and government to get the green light for the Louvre food court location. Why?
Well the answer is quite simple: Wanna take a guess at what is the largest grossing McDonald’s location in the world?
The one at the Champs de Elysees.
ahem. hrm.

The Spiciest Chili in the World
[yes, i am reposting this]
…is the ‘ghost chili.’
Also known as “bhut joloki,” this fiery pepper of death grows in the hills of northeastern India, near Changpool India. In 2007 it was been certified by the venerable Guinness World Records as the hottest known to man.
Where a jalapeno pepper ranges from 2,500 to 8,000 scoville units (the units for spiciness), and the habanero weighs in at nearly 600,000 scovilles, the ghost chili measures in at more than 1,000,000 Scoville units!
Holy qrap, that’s hot!
According to an MSNBC article about it, a farmer says, ““It is so hot you can’t even imagine…When you eat it, it’s like dying.”
Amazingly, some lady just ate 51 one of them. Read about it here.
